It breaks my heart

I'm sure we're all aware of the 8.9 magnitude of earthquake cum tsunami that hit Japan just recently. And yes, it breaks my heart.

I can't believe that a country that I'm actually in love in, could end up in a massive and unpredictable condition. Debris everywhere, and... talking about lives!

I guess what we all could do now, from far far away, is to pray. Let our prayers be heard by God. He knows best, I'm sure of it.

Well, lot's of worrying won't help much though. Let transformation be seen in Japan!

Matta Fair 2011

Hey people!

So I went for Matta Fair 2011 today! :D And it was tiring! Walking here and there, looking at so many colour printed leaflets and flyers all decorated around the hall of PWTC made my eyes sore.

There were a lot of people who attend MF today. And what made my trip fun and exciting? The smell of airlines. Yep, they were present in every hall where I enter. Weird? Not so much when you experienced it yourself! So much the adventure, aites? (:

The numbers of exhibitors booths this year are even more compared to last year. The thing is, I love Matta Fairs. You get to travel at super low prices and get to understand the different kind of places through the distributed flyers. And the best part? I met a few Japanese at the Japan Endless Discovery booths. They are really friendly! I talked to them like a ZERO  Japanese speaking young lady(when I can if I tried harder) and at last, they still have to communicate with me in English. Pity me. I have to bug up my language skills! (: Anyhow, I got some free stuffs like, a really cute bull pin. Yeah, a bull pin. Well, at least it's still something that represents Japan. I'm contented. Hee.

My advice? GO MATTA FAIR 2011! You'll be inspired.

Photoshop

Hey!
So I practially raid the internet for some incredible& amazing photo's. And look what I found?
This is spice. (:

Obviously, photography was made easy this way. Lots of photoshop, less the photography session. (:

See how innovative people can be!

Well, behind all these hardwork is M. Seth Jones / High-End Fashion & Beauty Retoucher. I must say I'm really interested in what this man is doing. Cause, you'll realize at some point, photoshop is serious matter. Once you lay your eyes on a particular picture, you'll know how great one's art on photoshop is.

Lots of sayings. Hee, take some time and visit http://www.msethjones.com/rollovers/ . You'll be terrified and amazed. Yeah, it's wonderful how they mixed.

Uniqlo

Hey!

So it was a fate when I came across a page about the famous Japanese apparel shop- Uniqlo.

In this picture- UNIQLO COO Naoki Otoma(holding blue shirt). TV announcers, from left, Ayako Ito (NTV), Mika Sugisaki (Fuji TV) and Ryoko Mima (TBS). *Btw, did you see a life sized Barbie Doll behind- second from right? (:*

UT (UNIQLO’s original T-shirt brand) 2011 spring/summer collection was launched in Tokyo on Monday! *SHOUTS*
The 2011 UT concept is “Now! On T-shirts,” and includes collaborations with some of the world’s hottest designers and artists.

The women’s collection includes collaborations with Barbie, Disney and Cath Kidston, while men can enjoy Gundam, Naruto, One Piece and “Pirates of the Caribbean” designs.

And the good news of generous people still alive on earth, partial profits from Cath Kidston’s design (on Mima) will be sent to pro-health, pro-women charity foundations in Africa.

JAL-the change

Hey!
For you people who are deciding to onboard the JAL Airline, here's a new rule you might want to know.

There's a change in its baggage rules for international flights. Up until now, depending on the routing, baggage provisions on JAL’s international flights were determined by either a weight system or a piece system.

Effective onboard flights on and after April 1, JAL will simplify its baggage policy and adopt the piece system for every international route and increase the free baggage allowance to bring customers greater convenience.
Free baggage allowance provided to First Class and Executive Class customers will also increase from two to 3 check-in pieces per traveler.

Moreover, customers traveling in all cabin classes can now carry larger luggage as JAL has also raised the permissible total dimension (a sum of the length, width and height) of each piece will be increased to 203 cm from April 1 (Yeah,  I wonder why of all days it must be on April's Fool!)

Sadako

Hey!
I must say I'm very impressed how Eleanor Coerr wrote the story 'Sadako and the thousand paper cranes'. It was really simple yet descriptive as it is.
And good news, I finished reading the book in just half a day.
In case you might not know what this storybook has to say, it's about this little young girl name Sadako who was only 12 when she pass because of leukemia. She was affected by the radiation of the atom bomb which was dropped by the US onto Hiroshima. Her best friend told her of folding 1000 paper cranes(origami) will make a person well. So Sadako believed and made 600++ of paper cranes before she slept. Unfortunately,  she never woke up again.Such a loss was her to her family and friends. She was a fast runner in school. In memorial of her, a statue(of Sadako and her golden paper crane) was built at Hiroshima Peace Park to remember those children who died because of the atom bomb.

Fashionable affair

Hey guys!
So I was so thrilled about my new blog that I searched the Internet for something to write. Have I mentioned I love writing? Journalism is practically- my thing- something I love to do.
Anyways, the point is, I found something really interesting for all the fashionista's! *Tears of joy!*
I'm sure we're all aware of the upcoming 13th KL Formula 1. Fyi, Stylo Fashion Grand Prix will return to the F1 scene with a 10-day Fashion GP and Fashion Ball partnering Sepang International Circuit, Visa and the Ford Models Supermodel of the World.
Stylo’s theme this year is “Fashion Theatre” and will run from April 1 to 10.
Stylo’s inaugural Fashion Ball promises to bring the same level of excitement in the run-up to the Malaysian Grand Prix next month.
So what are you waiting for? Book your dates and, who knows we might meet up there? (:
